The food at Sarah's is ALWAYS delicious and amazing. I have tried so many items on the menu and they are very authentically flavorful and unique. The folks there are kind and helpful. They told me the story about how the sauces were created and why, helped me choose what to pick for my 'special' eater and gave me a brownie! The inside was bright, clean, and decorated with and Egyptian theme.

It has been a long time since I visited and updated my review for Sarah's. No longer working in the area, and having access to my favorite restaurant with a much shorter drive (that also happens to serve similar cuisine) just put it in a situation where it wasn't as convenient for me. But I had the occasion on a cool late summer evening to go check it out, as I was in the area and my usual spot had already closed up for the evening. I wanted to give it a chance and see if it could re-awaken my love for the place. Upon arrival, first thing to note, the restaurant still looks brand new on the inside. It is kept immaculately clean, big time kudos to the staff. I was also welcomed as I walked in the door and they were ready to take my order right away, all big pluses. I decided to order what I used to get on a routine basis, the gyro salad, medium spicy, on spring mix. When I said spring mix there was much discussion, and ultimately, they informed me they no longer have any lettuce alternative to their shredded iceberg lettuce. This is a pretty big bummer for me, because iceberg lettuce does not a salad make. It's a sandwich or gyro topping, not something to use as a salad base. But, thats what I was offered, so that's what I got. Pita bread has always been an extra charge, which, if you're looking to cut some carbs it's nice to have that temptation eliminated. In all honesty, the feeling of getting iceberg lettuce, with lance club crackers, and plastic utensils, on a foam plate dampens the experience for me. Especially when it used to be served on actual dishware with washable flatware, and more premium greens. Drinks came in washable cups too. I suppose this all changed during the pandemic, but I would like to see it change back. The amount of non-renewable waste for an eat-in meal made me a little sad. The important thing however, the gyro meat is still delicious and plentiful. Nice spice, juicy, and enough you can have some in every bite. The salad also comes with diced tomato, crumbled feta, and cucumber. This all complements their unique house dressing well. The price is also still pretty good, and there ARE still meal options under 10 bucks. Appreciated for the value conscious. Ultimately, it just depends on your tastes. I am perhaps let down by comparison to how it used to be, and now in comparison to other places in the Triad serving a comparable meal. For me, there are a couple other places I would choose first, but if someone wanted to meet me here, i would not turn it down either. Thanks Sarah's!

It's simple to order here and well organized. You order and pay at the front, they give you a number to take to your table, then deliver your food when it's ready. You grab your own drink and utensils at an area that directly faces where you ordered. I met my friend at Sarah Kabob shop for a meal. I ordered the gyro platter (lamb) but substituted my fries for extra salad. My friend ordered the veggie combo with 2 extra falafel and a side of fries. The food was filling and delicious. I couldn't eat my gyro in one setting and warmed it up the next day for a meal. It was just as good as when it was freshly made.

I live in Texas but used to live in NC. When I went back for vacation THIS was my one spot to visit. Nothing beats it. I wish I could figure out how they make their gyro. I'm in heaven each and every time. Place is clean and friendly service.

Passing through & wanted something good. We found it. Cool pictures & decor, nice & clean. Friendly Staff, greetings as we came and when we left after our meal. You get a menu, find a table or seat at the bar, decide what you want, and then go up to counter to order. Food is brought out when done to your table. Food came out fast & hot, we tried hummus & pita bread, and two gyro plates which came with fries. The plate also came with salad. The fries were amazing, and the salad dressing was Wow, delicious. A flavor that was very unique and made the salad pop. Our gyros were good, not the most flavorful but solid. Definitely 5 Stars & a return spot for us when back in area.

I come here semi often for lunch during the work week. I often get the chicken Shawarma - it's good and so is the salad. The saffron rice isn't the best I've had and their Taziki sauce is different than other places and isn't my favorite. The service is good, everyone is friendly and it's always clean.

Causal spot for a quick lunch or dinner. Consistently quick, friendly and a good value. Big open dining space with counter service and self serve drinks. If you are looking for a casual meal that won't break the bank but has good flavor and choices, Sarah's is a great choice. You can sit inside in the roomy dining area where you queue up to order and they then bring your food to you or you can sit outside on the patio. If you don't want to eat with plastic tableware on styrofoam plates, this is not the place for you. Wish they gave an option on this but this is the only choice currently. I don't live in Greensboro but o have eaten here a handful of times and they are very consistent, hard to say about most places.
